What areas of the country do you work in?
Any Internet based service can reach any part of the world nowadays. So if you live in a cave in Outer Mongolia we would be very happy to work with you. However being practical we do like to meet our clients from time to time so most of our clients are based in the South and South West of the U.K. If you or your business are based further afield we can still provide you with a first class service. We just won’t be able to come to your office Christmas party every year!
When and how do I have to pay you?
Before starting work on your behalf we would require a deposit of 25% of the agreed price. Any fees for domain registration or site hosting would also be required at this stage. The outstanding balance is payable when you sign to say you are happy with the work we have carried out and the website is ready to be published (if applicable). Should you require on-going website management this is usually paid monthly in advance. Payment is by cheque or direct debit.
How much?

Because the services we offer are varied this is a guide price.
A good simple website that will give you, more enquiries, more customers, more profit and less hassle will probably cost you about £250 to build, register, optimise for search engines, submit to Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. This price also includes submission to various business and area directories that will accept links to your business and website. On top of all that we will also arrange a listing in both Yellow Pages and Thompson Locals if you wish. All at no extra cost.
Monthly management charges are usually £10 per month.

Seriously though. We make sure that the content is what search engines and potential customers are looking for. Once we have the content right it is down to lots of repetitive and time consuming work. Your website is of no value to you whatsoever unless it does what you want it to. And it cannot do that if it remains unseen. The way we construct your website and the content we build into it ensures that search engine spiders can find the site easily and then crawl through the whole site easily. That’s one of the reasons our website contain little if any Flash, Gifs, Gizmos and Gadgets. All of these may look good to you but just drive the robot spiders mad, and you don’t want an angry spider looking at your website do you?
We also put in many hours of research to keep up to speed with the latest trends in website marketing and promotion. What worked very well a year or two ago may not be so effective today, and what works brilliantly today maybe outdated in a few months. That’s why it pays to use our monthly management service that allows us to keep your site well placed in all of the major search engines.
We treat every client and website individually which takes much longer but produces far better results both for the client and for ourselves. As an example, there are many companies that offer to submit your website automatically to thousands of search engines and directories. Even if they do what they say your site gets buried at the bottom of a very big pile of similar sites never to see the light of day. We make all submissions by hand which is very time consuming but allows us to hand write the business description for each search engine or directory which is what decides exactly when and where your website or business is listed.
When will I see my website on Google?
When your website is finished, approved by you and published on the web we will submit it to all the major search engines. It can take anything from a few days to many weeks or months to see your website show up with most search engines. AltaVista, MSN and Yahoo usually list your site within a few days. Google is usually a week. Some directories add your listing immediately while others take months. Real people instead of computers edit most of these so it usually depends on the workload at any one time.
Once your site is listed we then continue to monitor your website position on the search engines. By doing this we can often tweak the keywords and content on your site to improve your ranking on different search engines. This needs to be done on a regular basis which is what we are very good at.
